Ooue Notebook, Ocean Floral

These handmade journals are made exclusively for Passenger. Designed and assembled in Osaka. Cover paper is handmade in Gifu. Inside paper is handmade in Echizen, Fukui. They sport a good writing comfort that is not too smooth with all writing instruments. Full flat design that can be used for large pages. The thread binding used in the notebook opens the page 180 degree without pressing it by hand. The coloring that prevents the small edges from getting dirty is called small edge coating, and each book is hand-finished by a craftsman. While no ruled lines are added, there's an underlay included that supports various formats. The paper is especially designed for fountain pens and pencils, but friendly to all other types of writing instruments.
