Kamito Washi Paper Thread

The Kamito paper threads are made of washi paper and dyed with natural plants and vegetables. We love the organic process here. Artisans cut paper into thin pieces, twist them, and naturally dye the paper with plants and vegetables. The color of plant and vegetable dyeing varies each time depending on the weather and the condition of the raw materials. There may be discoloration, fading or color transfer after dyeing.
