Mino Washi Tenugui, Moss Phlox

This tenugui is made of a traditional Japanese fabric called Arimatsu Narumi Shibori from the Arimatsu Narumi area in Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture. Washi paper towels are not only smoother but also 20% more absorbent than cotton towels. Mino washi paper is slit into thin strips and twisted to create thin but strong paper threads, and this product is made by using those paper threads for the weft.
