Vintage Greeting Card, Fantasy Grounds

This greeting card was reproduced in 1994 from an original watercolor by artist Victor Ing. Each card is over 30 years old but in new and mint condition. 

Victor's paintings reflect the influence of his early training and life in Canton, China. However, after graduating from the Art Institute of Chicago, he won numerous awards throughout the United States and in 1968 was elected to the American Watercolor Society. His works are represented in many major galleries and museums. Recognized for his technique, which results from a combination of Chinese brush strokes and a Western concept of pattern and design - Victor creates works which blend to formulate a poetical and mystical style all his own. In Fantasy Grounds the carefully positioned elements of woods and sky work to provide an impressionistic landscape with just enough detail to conjure up a universal imagery of beauty and peace.
